WASHINGTON, PA--The River City Rascals suffered a heartbreaking, walk-off loss on Friday night at Wild Things Park, losing the series opener to the Washington Wild Things 1-0 on a walk-off single from Mike Hill. The two teams combined for just seven hits in the pitcher's duel. The Rascals left seven runners on base in the loss.

With the game tied entering the bottom of the ninth, Roman Collins drew a lead-off walk for the Wild Things, moved to second on a ground ball from Reydel Medina, and after an intentional walk of Hector Roa, scored on the winning hit from Hill, narrowly making it in safely on a close play at the plate.
