Steve enters his 15th season with the River City Rascals in 2018 and his 9th as Field Manager and Director of Baseball Operations. Brook has an overall league managing record of 441 - 334 and led the Rascals to its first Frontier League Championship in 2010.
As a Rascals player, Steve finished his career in 2007 with 33 career victories, which ranks first in franchise history and third in Frontier League history. From 2004-2007, Steve compiled a pitching record of 33W - 17L, a 4.14 ERA, 448 innings pitched, 332 K’s, and 102 BB’s.
Steve earned his BA in History/Secondary Education from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2003 and his MS in Physical Education/Athletic Administration from the University of Central Missouri in 2008. During the off-season, Steve also teaches physical education at Fort Zumwalt South High School and serves as the worship leader at Bethesda Baptist Church in St. Charles, MO. He has a passion for Christ, his family, and is dedicated to bringing success to the Rascals organization on and off the field in 2016 and beyond.
