Steve Malliet is coming to the Rascals after spending the last 5 seasons with the Joliet JackHammers as their Executive Vice President and General Manager.  Prior to his time in Joliet, Steve served as the Corporate Sales Manager for The Milwaukee Brewers for two seasons before moving on to start up the Myrtle Beach Pelicans Organization (Atlanta Braves Affiliate).  He received his first General Manager position with the Wisconsin TimberRattlers in 1994 and helped the organization move into a new stadium in 1995.  He was named The Executive of The Year in The Midwest League in 1995 and The TimberRattlers went on to win The Bob Freitas Award in 1996 as the Most outstanding franchise in Minor League Baseball in their class.
